Biden sends more arms bypassing Congress while saying he's disturbed that Nethu is ignoring his pleas. It makes no sense.

Exactly. I don't know who Biden thinks he's trying to fool. I've seen more than one commentator call his policies schizophrenic. But apparently he thinks that he can pursue all of these irreconcilable policies that get people starved, strafed or smithereened without losing a vote. I don't know what's going through his head.

I think he's thinking people will vote for him to stop trump and, in fact, as much as I despise Biden for Gaza, I will vote for him in the end if those are the choices. It's not as if trump would care at all about the Palestinians and he is just as committed to Israhell as Biden.

It strikes me that what Biden is presenting us with is a genocidal version of the trolley problem. He's making it seem as though we have to let all of these people in Gaza die--in fact, we must push them onto the track where the train is barrelling down--just so that we "save" the United States from the danger of Trump.

In reality, this is a false choice, an illusion. We don't have to sacrifice one to avoid the other. The course of action that the U.S. is taking is Biden's choice.

I think he's always been this very committed Zionist, bought into all the propaganda, and at his age he just can't change that easily.

That's not a basis for foreign policy, though.

No. It's all so horrifying.
